I love a good curbside find. I have found so many treasures left on the side of the curb and every, single time, it amazes me what some people will throw out to the landfill! This repurposed table has got to be one of my favorite transformations. My initial thought when I saw the table was that even if I couldn’t use it as it was meant to, the wood alone could be repurposed into many different projects. The final outcome was nothing like I had planned, but I loved it so much when we got it done.
As soon as I got it home, Matt started putting it together.
He got this far and I started to see something.
Do you see it? Do you see it?
I instantly saw a pumpkin! I asked Matt if there was a way to use the legs as a “stand” to hold the “pumpkin” up??
He looked it over and said all he had to do was cut one of the legs down and attach it with a bolt and chain.
We used a piece from the other leg for the stem.
I painted it brown.
That table leg was pretty rough and I left it that way because a pumpkin stem is always rough.
I painted the other part orange and dry brushed some brown paint over it all.
Then, I used a stencil to paint the word “hello” on it.

I still can’t believe this repurposed table! It has come a long way from the curb I picked it up from.
This repurposed table turned welcome pumpkin will now greet people as they come to our home during the fall season.
Who knew curbside shopping could turn out so cute?! 🙂
If you don’t have time to curbside shop, I found some fall signs that will fit the bill just fine:

I love the simplicity of the message.
Hello . . . .
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! After I painted the pumpkin orange, it just needed a little something else – nothing too big so the small “Hello” was the perfect fit.
