This easy DIY Wood Slice Centerpiece is perfect for any season, but in the winter, it is extra special.
Wood slices are so popular right now and whenever I find them in stores, I am amazed by how pricey they are! I would never pay their hefty price tag because I know I can make them myself. (Well, let’s be honest, Matt can help me make them.) 🙂
I think a few of these Wood Slice Centerpieces would be beautiful lined up in the middle of on a long, rustic table. Swoon-worthy for sure.
Okay, on to the post and how I made these.

Supplies Used To Make This DIY Wood Slice Centerpiece:
Wood Slices
We had a stack of wood slices in our garage that were waiting for a project. I thought it would be fun to turn them into a wood slice centerpiece.
I chose one of the wood slices that I thought would be perfect.
We sanded it to make it smooth.
To make the tea lights fit in the wood slice centerpiece, we measured them and found a drill bit that would give us the best hole.
We used a 1.5″ drill bit.
It came out so great!
I love the look of this piece. It is rustic, natural, chunky and a little whimsical. I love the warm glow from the tea lights when we have it on the table at night too. It would be great outside or inside. Make a few of them and use them for a party outside during the summer, spring and/or fall.
How would you use this centerpiece?
