I have been writing about 30 Minute DIY Projects for a long time. A lot of times I call them “DIY in 30” in the post title on the blog. In the beginning, I didn’t know if I should even post about these easy projects, but the more I posted them and heard that you liked them, the more I knew that it was super important to share these projects as well as the bigger projects. DIY comes in all shapes and sizes. Some projects take months, while others take minutes. It is so liberating to start and complete a DIY project in under thirty minutes. You have instant satisfaction and you want to make a ton of things when you are done.
In this post, I wanted to bring you some of my favorite DIY in 30 projects in one place. If I can inspire you to try to tackle just one of these or one similar, my job is done. I am extremely passionate about showing you how I DIY my way to making our home comfortable, cozy and welcoming. I want all the pretty things I see on TV and magazines in our home and DIYing these projects lets me have those things without paying the hefty price tag to get them.
The first of the 30 minute DIY projects I am sharing is my DIY sign. Not only was this project super simple, but it shows you that when you are shopping for pieces for your home, don’t look at the items at face value. Ask yourself: Can I DIY my way through this piece to make it exactly what I need for my home? This sign was not my style when I brought it home, but I knew with a little paint, it would fit perfectly in our kitchen.
Next on this list is my Repurposed Arrow Art. I had a valentine garland with red arrows that I was not going to use it for Valentine’s Day. Instead of getting rid of it, I was able to reuse the arrows and make an art piece for the tween room we are making over.
30 Minute DIY Projects would not be complete without my DIY Succulents Planter. This project could not have been easier and it brings a lot of life to the room I put it in. This is one of my favorites!
My Mason Jars Thrifted Caddy Makeover was a great one that illustrates how to think outside of the box when you are shopping in a thrift store or yard sale. I didn’t like the wood color of this caddy, but I knew a coat of white paint would make a world of difference. It is gorgeous next to the blue Mason jars.
This next project was so easy to do and I was amazed how real they looked! I will be doing this to many more pieces when I find them. Concrete is so fun, but can be expensive. This DIY Fall Decor lets you have the same look for pennies!
This farmhouse storage piece is a great example of just bringing two found pieces together to make a functional, farmhouse decor piece. Easy peasy!
This Pottery Barn Knock-Off Chalkboard Globe took a lot less than 30 minutes to do. Just a little paint and it was done!
Curbside rescues are some of my favorite easy DIY projects. This Patriotic Planter just needed a new paint job. It was a smaller piece so it didn’t take long to paint. A few plants later and it was a new piece!
My DIY Recycled Bathroom Organizer could not be any simpler. A piece of barn wood, a couple of bathroom knobs and some Mason jars and you are done!
I hope some of these 30 minute DIY projects inspire you to tackle a project you have been afraid to try. Start small. Don’t take on a huge project when you first start out. I promise, once you complete a few of the smaller, 30 minute DIY projects, you will be excited to tackle some bigger ones.
There are some tools that you will need to take on DIY projects. I will be sharing a post soon with all my favorite tools. They cost some money up front, but they pay for themselves over and over again because you save so much money with all the projects you can complete!!!
