Looking for an easy meal your entire family will love? This 5 Ingredient Beef and Noodles In The Slow Cooker is a meal to prepare any night.
If your household is busy like mine or if you just want an easy meal to prepare without spending hours in the kitchen, this recipe is for you.
Beef and noodles are made in many different ways. I always thought of it as a time-consuming meal. Some people make homemade noodles for it. I knew I was never going to try that. I like simple recipes that I can get on the table fast and that include ingredients I would normally have on hand.
This recipe for beef and noodles is easy and after we tried it the first time, I changed it up a bit.
Our kids loved this recipe. Our, son, Landen said it is one of his favorite meals that I cook now. Any time the kids love an easy meal like this, I am a happy mom. I can always have the ingredients on hand for this recipe. It is something I can put together in a few minutes in the morning or afternoon and then finish when it is time to eat. Slow cooker recipes are some of my favorites because they can be working on dinner while I am working in my office. They make dinner time less stressful, It is done and ready when everyone needs to eat. With busy teenagers, they are coming and going all the time. This meal is a perfect one to have ready for them when they are home to eat dinner.
I put the leftovers in my favorite leftover containers so they are easy for Matt and the kids to grab the next few days for lunch. This meal is the one leftover that never goes to waste. Every last bit of it gets eaten. It’s a meal that gets better the next day.
As I stated earlier, I have changed this recipe a few times since trying it the first time.
There are a few notes I want to share before I get to the recipe itself.
- The more butter that is used, the richer the end result will be. Too much butter makes it too rich for us so I have lessened the amount in the recipe.
- I always add two pounds of stew meat because we like more meat in it. You can use one pound if you like. If I only have one pound on hand, I still use the same bag of noodles but I half the other ingredients in the slow cooker.
- I love using my slow cooker. I use my 8-quart slow cooker for this recipe.
- This meal gets better the next day. It is a leftover that never goes to waste.
