I have never been a Strawberry Pie person (or any pie person for that matter), but when a friend of mine brought over this pie……. it was all over for me. I have met my match. This Strawberry Pie is so good, and better yet, it is super simple to make! The crust is so easy to make and it is my favorite pie crust now for any recipe that calls for one. This Strawberry Pie shows up at all of our family functions now because we have all fallen in love with it.
We love strawberries and when they are in season, we can’t get enough of them. I have made many different things with strawberries, but this Strawberry Pie is our favorite.

I can’t tell you how delicious and easy this pie is.
This is one you will definitely have to make the next time family and friends come over. Like I said, I have made it many times and it has become a “requested” dessert at all of our get-togethers.
Oh this Strawberry Pie is bringing back lots of memories for me! Thanks so much for the recipe (especially for the super easy crust recipe)!

It is so yummy and the crust…….. forget about it. 😉
Looks amazing and so simple. I’m not much of a baker but I bet I can make this pie ha!
You so could!
Yum, this sounds amazing. Strawberries are in season here too and they are actually good this year.
This is an AMAZING pie!
Oh yum! I just bought strawberries. I am planning on making this tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe!
It is so yummy and so easy! I would love to hear what you think!
I’m not a pie person either, but this looks really good!
It is so good. Too good! Delicious!
You could call this a nearly no-bake pie. The only baking is the crust! I love this idea and have pinned and stumbled it. Thanks so much for joining us at The Yuck Stops Here this week. Can’t wait to see what you’ll bring to the party next week. HUGS
Never thought of using jello. Your pie looks so yummy! Thanks for sharing it at the party.
I absolutely love an god strawberry pie! I pinned this because I am going strawberry picking next week!
You will love this recipe! So yummy.
Thanks for linking up this yummy-sounding recipe at the Manic Mondays blog hop! It’s one of this week’s featured posts! Check it out at http://mommyatozblog.com/get-linky/. This week’s hop is open…hope to see you there!
This looks yummy! Do you think it would work to sub applesauce for the oil in the crust to save the fat? or maybe half of it? Thanks!
This pie was one of my favorites growing up. It was usually a special summertime treat, because we only made it when strawberries were in season.
Thank you for linking this recipe up in the Bloggers Brags Party! I’m pinning this to our group board. 🙂
Thanks for sharing on Show-Licious. Pinning!

This recipe looks fantastic!! So yummy and easy to do.
It is! It is!
I just made two of these pies. I used coconut flour to make one of them gluten free and for the first time ever the gf version might be better than the original! The crust had a light coconut flavor which just add to the yum factor of the pie! Thanks for the great recipe!
I will have to try that Amanda! Thank you!
My crust cracked when it cooled, which made the jello bleed through when I poured it in. How do I avoid this? My pie dish is clear pyrex so it’s pretty obvious!
Morgan, I have never had that happen??? I have never used a glass pie plate so maybe that has something to do with it?? I wish I had the answer. I have to make one of these pies for my daughter’s class at the end of this month. I will see if I come up with anything that might help.
My jello didn’t set either so it may have been something with the strawberries. Who knows!!
I am stumped????
Making this tonite! Strawberries are so yummy in texas right now. Looks exactly what my grama used to make! Ive been looking for the receipe for years. I can make some really great meals but I have never been to great at baking. Givin’ it a shot tho.
Let me know how it goes!
How long does it take to set?
For sure over night, but 3-4 hours should work.
My grandmother handed down a blueberry pie recipe that is very similar (she used raspberry jello since you can’t find blueberry). As soon as I saw this recipe I knew it’d be just as fantastic as her blueberry recipe! Thank you for sharing.
On a side note, I throw about 1/2 cup of mashed blueberries into the water, sugar, corn starch syrup to make a wonderful pancake and waffle topping (frozen berries work great too).
This sounds so good! I will have to try it for sure. Thank you so much for sharing!
I didn’t like it, tastes to strong like jello, I only put 1/4 cup in as it was. Maybe next time 2 tablespoons, just to make the color. It was very shiny that part I did like.
Thank you for your feedback!
So does this have a gelatin consistency? Or is this more gooey like traditional strawberry pie?
It does not have a gelatin consistency. It is more like traditional pie.
Do I use a small box of jello or large? It doesn’t say in the recipe.
The regular size. Thanks. I will add that.
Is regular size a large or small box?
regular
How many ounces for the jello?
Just the regular size package will do.
Not to be dumb but I have the same question. I don’t know which size you consider regular size?
9″
This pie looks amazing. I haven’t ever had a fresh strawberry pie. It is a shame that strawberries aren’t in season at the moment. 🙁
Thanks!
Can you use frozen strawberries? I picked them this year and froze them.
I have never used them but you could give it a try.
