Reclaimed pallet wood can be found everywhere. There is so much you can do with pallets and this Reclaimed Pallet Wood Organizer was free to make and adds a lot of storage to keep all kinds of things organized.
I needed to use a few different pallets for this project. I really loved the look of the wood on the pallet below, but the wood wasn’t good enough to use for the boxes on the organizer. But, we were able to use the outside pieces for the sides of the organizer.

Supplies Used To Make This Reclaimed Pallet Wood Organizer:
Pallet Wood
Paint
Paint Brush
For the boxes on this piece, we used “newer” pallets.
To get the wood off the pallets, we used a circular saw to cut right up the middle of the pallet. These are the pieces of wood we used for the boxes.
To get enough wood to make four boxes, we had to use multiple pallets.
These boxes have so many possibilities all on their own!
Like I said earlier, we were able to use the older pallet for the sides of the organizer.
We screwed the boxes onto the sides.
I used the Mixed Number Stencil Mask from Hazel and Ruby to add numbers to the front of the boxes.
I painted the entire piece. Then, I traced the numbers and painted them black.
I wore down the black paint on the numbers with a little sand paper.
We live in a small home so whenever I can use vertical space on the walls I do. This organizer is perfect for that. It can be hung on the wall without taking up any floor space. Right now, I have it filled with miscellaneous crafts and DIY supplies, but it would also be great for a kid’s room for their books, toys, stuffed animals or Legos.
This would also be great in a living room to hold magazines, or even in a mudroom to hold goggles, sunscreen, hats and flip-flops.
What kinds of things would you put in a piece like this?

I love the boxes, Lindsay, but I also LOVE how you stacked them up. 🙂 This turned out so good.
That you Katie!
Great job! I found your link the the Sits Girl’s link up today. I posted a pallet project too. When I saw your link I thought you made the organizer for bathroom products (it was hard to tell from the thumbnail link up) So now you have me thinking I need to make this for all of my teen daughter’s bathroom/hair products. Thanks!
What a great idea!!!!! Thanks for visiting!
I love your ‘out of the box’ thinking! What a great way to turn your project into a functional item! Love it!
