Free Fall Printable: Grateful For Simple Blessings

Free printables are a great way to change your decor for new seasons and holidays. They are easy, they aren’t permanent and they are fun to create. (If you don’t like creating them, you can always find them online). I am joining my blog friends today to bring you a free fall printable. When I start thinking about creating a free printable, I always start with the words.

What do I want it to say?

Fall is my favorite season for so many reasons. I love the weather, but it always brings about this season of gratitude for me. I am so thankful for so many things and the fall season makes me want to reflect on those things. 

From the beginning, when we started having kids, Matt and I talked about instilling in our kids a sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the important things. We started talking to them early about the simple things we need to be thankful for. New toys and games are nice, but the core of what we need to be grateful for are not “things”. Now that our kids are older, they really do have an understanding of what is truly important and they are grateful for it. 

So, for this free fall printable, I wanted to embrace that feeling; Grateful For Simple Blessings. 

I had the perfect frame for the printable. It was a $1 yard sale find. It had a picture inside that I wasn’t a fan of, but I loved the chippy white frame. I just removed the picture and put the fall printable in it. 

I have moved the fall printable all over our house. It is in our back porch now. It was the final room I decorated for fall and since we spend a lot of time out there, the fall printable is a great reminder to all of us this season.
