This DIY Christmas gift can be made in under 5 minutes!
I love homemade Christmas gifts. There is something about creating something from your hands and giving it to someone who you know will really enjoy it. This DIY Christmas Gift is so great because you can customize it for everyone on your list. You can make one of these for each person on your Christmas list in under a half hour this year.
I started using essential oils in our home and with our family a little over a year ago. I wrote all about it in the post HERE. Just like with anything new, we have been learning new things about the oils every day. There are so many uses for them that it has been so fun experimenting with them in different ways.
When I was thinking about ways we can add a homemade touch to some of our Christmas gifts this year, I saw something about essential oils and room sprays and had to try it out. This could not be any easier and the fact that the spray is a non-toxic spray and you can customize the scent to anything you like, it was a no-brainer for me.
The first room spray I made was for our Christmas tree. We don’t have a real tree, so I made a pine-scented spray to spray on our artificial tree. It smells like the real thing! Young Living essential oils are pure and highly concentrated (there aren’t any fillers or carrier oils inside their bottles), so they smell amazing. The Pine oil is all I needed to add to the spray to make our Christmas tree smell like it was a real one.
After I made the spray for us, I thought it would be fun to make sprays for gift baskets we are putting together this year.

Supplies Used To Make This DIY Christmas Gift – Room Spray:
Essential Oils
Mini Spray Bottles
Witch Hazel
I made a quick video showing you how to put this together. There is no right or wrong way to do this. You basically get to play with scents you love and make a room perfume with it! I add about 20 drops total of essential oils and then fill the rest of the spray bottle up with the Witch Hazel. Then, you put the lid back on the spray bottle and shake it so everything mixes well. That’s it!
After I made a few, Gabrielle wanted to get involved. We had so much fun coming up with custom scents and bottling them up for family and friends. You should really give this a try! Your family and friends will thank you.
I would love to know what scents you like to put together for the Christmas season! Tell me in the comments below!
