If your family is anything like ours, we love to play different games around the holidays. We host Christmas Eve at our house and every year, I like to come up with different games for the family to compete and play in. When the kids were smaller, I would come up with games for the kids and then games for the adults. Now that all of our kids are teenagers, I don’t have to come up with separate games. They can try and beat the parents and grandparents now. I have posted about some of the games we have done in the past but this time around, I am sharing some Christmas Trivia Games we have put together.
Christmas movie trivia is so much fun. It is something the entire family can do.
You can play these trivia games in many different ways:
- Print off the trivia games and have each person “fill one out” with a clipboard and pen.
- Post the questions on a chalkboard or whiteboard and have players write his/her answers on a sheet of paper.
- Write each question down on a piece of paper and put it inside a box and the players have to grab a question out and answer it.
We have played these movie trivia games in so many different ways. That is why I love them so much.
Coming up with all the questions can be time-consuming so I am excited to be offering so many trivia game options that are already done for you. Some of the trivia games are movie specific and some are more “general” Christmas questions.
All you have to do is choose which game you want and then click on the link under the picture and it will take you right to it.
Our daughter, Gabrielle helped me with this project and I think she did an amazing job.
Let the games begin!!!
Christmas Trivia Games
I like to put games together that won’t be so easy that they are completed in a few minutes. So, I wanted to make sure that each trivia game had a good mix of both easy and challenging questions.
We have been playing trivia games at our Christmas Eve party for years.
I would love to know… after looking through all the trivia games we created, which one is best suited for your family?
If you play one or more of these games, please post a photo on Instagram and tag me @mycreativedays so I am sure to see it.

We did something similar last year but on Christmas Day. The kids are older now and I was trying to figure out how to make present opening more fun since there aren’t many “wow” moments opening the asked-for gift cards. We had game show sound effects, 10 categories, about 100 questions. I wasn’t sure how this would go over (pick a category, pick a question, get it right, open a gift) but they enjoyed it so much they didn’t want to stop until all the questions were answered even though we had run out of gifts long before! They have requested the same thing this year.
OMG! This sounds like so much fun!
I might try something like that this year. Thank you for sharing!
