Hello! If you are coming over from Kingsbury Brook Farm, welcome! I am so happy you are here! I love sharing the frugal ways I decorate our home to make it a cozy and beautiful space for our family and friends. I have shared many rooms of our home decked out for the holidays this year, but today is all about the Christmas Vignettes In The Dining Room. I say vignettes because there are always a few set up in our small dining area.
I am joining some blogging friends in this tour so make sure to check out all of their beautiful Christmas decor at the end of this post.
I set an easy Christmas tablescape last week. Tablescapes are always fun for me, but I also love decorating the glass cabinets we added in our dining area. We put in this wall of cabinets to add storage to our kitchen area and I really wanted to leave the top cabinets open so I would have extra space to decorate during a new season or when my decorating mood changes. That’s always important when you are thinking about remodeling, right?!

I feel like I always decorate each section separately, but yet they act as one space. This year, I added a little vintage flair to the cabinets.
Since I purge so much every year when I am getting the Christmas decorations out, I never know what will end up where. That is the fun part for me. I like to change things up a lot so it always looks different around here each year.
Small Christmas vignettes are one of my favorite ways to decorate because you can have special “moments” all throughout your home.
We call the counter in the dining area the “buffet”. It is great space for food and drinks when we are entertaining, but it is also fun to add Christmas vignettes to during the holiday season!
I am a fan of anything wood; wood beads, wood cutting boards, wood stands, etc. I use them all year round. They are timeless. They won’t go out of style so I feel like it is a good investment if I find something I love. (Don’t you love my reasoning for my wood cutting board/bead/stand hoarding problem?)
I just received this beautiful wood bead garland from Emory Valley Mercantile. I love the added detail on the end! Merry Christmas to me!
You can find the same one HERE.

I am excited to be getting done with my holiday obligations here on the blog so I can take some time off around the holidays to spend with the fam.
Make sure to head over to Poofing The Pillows to see her Christmas vignettes! After seeing all of the posts today, I want to decorate another one.
I found some great pieces online that are very similar to what I added to my Christmas vignettes below:
Do you have small Christmas vignettes in your home? Where?

I love it all!!! I think my favorite part is that little cubby filled with bells! So charming! Where did you get the mini wooden skis?
They were a Target Hot Spot find a couple of years ago.
I enjoyed your kitchen tour the other day, Lindsay but these vignettes throughout your dining room are my favorite! Love the shadow box filled with bells in the hutch and the old scale tucked in there too! Thanks so much for joining me again; always so beautifully done! xo
Thank you for having me Kendra! Merry Christmas!
Lindsay, you are gifted in creating beautiful vignettes. Truly…so pretty! I want to create some of those beaded garlands. They add so much flair to a spot.
Merry Christmas to you!!
Merry Christmas to you! Thank you!
I want those stirs with the Christmas trees on the end! Merry Christmas!
They were a Target Hot Spot find last year! They are fun!
I love how you described having vignettes as having special moments around the house. That is how I feel about them too. Everything you showed here coordinates so well together. You have a beautiful style, Lindsay!
Thank you so much Jamie!
I think we have some similar tastes with the fun vintage thermoses and lunchbox. So many details made this tour really fun! Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you Tara!
I love your styling! Your plaids, coppers and vintage thermos collection have my heart! It’s all so beautiful!
Thanks Kristin!
Pinned!! I love these ideas. I’ll need to put most things way up high out of my kids’ reaches though, haha!
Thank you so much Katherine!
Oh my gosh! Gorgeous! Your kitchen looks very pretty. I love the vintage crate, and those little stockings!
Thank you Kristen!
Hi Lindsay, oh I want to to shop your house. I see so many gorgeous things like that wooden bead chain and the cutting board hanging on the kitchen back drop. Beautifully pulled together. I have not been blogging very much this year and therefor have not been keeping up on everybody else’s blogs much either. I hope that will change in the near future.
Thank you so much Christine! So happy to have you here!
Lindsay – you’ve done it again! Your vignettes are always fabulous! Everything in your kitchen is wonderful. Those tree stirrers are so cute. We wish you and your sweet family a very Merry Christmas!
Thank you!
So much fun decor here! I really like all the different bells in the wood cubes and the display on the wood round is lovely. The candy canes in the white pitcher is a great idea and the wood beads are beautiful. I think your reasoning on your “wood hoarding” is very sound. 🙂
Thank you Lori!
I just love that vignette with the topiary stir sticks and that beaded garland! I’ve actually been looking for a wooden beaded garland, so I am going to check that site out!! So much to love!!

Thank yoU!
What a great idea to keep the cabinets open for decorating! Love all all the festive reds… and those bells in the cubby are perfect!
Thank you!
