All of these fall decor projects might be a little too early for you all, but I. Love. Fall. The crisp air, changing leaves, football games, caramel apples, hooded sweatshirts and everything in between. I look forward to this season all summer long and I am finally starting to decorate for it. DIY fall decor doesn’t have to be hard, expensive or take a lot of time. You can DIY all kinds of things to add the season to your home. My Paper Leaf Wreath was done in less than thirty minutes and I used supplies I already had on hand.

DIY Fall Decor – Directions To Make A Paper Leaf Wreath:
Trace the leaf template onto your scrapbook paper. Cut out the leaves. Depending on the size of your embroidery hoop and how full you want your wreath to be will depend on how many leaves you need. I used the entire small scrapbook pad for my wreath.
Once the leaves are cut out, hot glue them around the embroidery hoop. I overlapped them and turned them in all directions.
I also glued them to the back of the hoop.
When I have a light project like this and don’t want to search for a picture hanger, soda can tops work wonders!
To finish the wreath, I tied raffia around the top of the hoop and hot glued an acorn stem to the front.
This Paper Leaf Wreath is the perfect addition to the little window in our back porch.
Now, if I could only figure out a way to get rid of that big black box so I had more surface area to decorate.
I am thinking my husband might notice though.
I hope this simple DIY Fall Decor project has inspired you to try it.

Oh my stars! This is the cutest little wreath. Love the collection of paper used for the leaves. And I also love that it’s a traditional wreath using non-traditional elements –meaning there are no real or faux pumpkins and flowers. I will surely be copying this wreath. Thanks for the inspiration. XOXO Susie from The Chelsea Project
