Easy crafts are always high on my list of crafts. Projects that take less than thirty minutes to complete from start to finish are fulfilling and great for someone who doesn’t have the time or patience for a long, drawn-out craft. This easy fall craft combines two of my favorite things; fall and baker’s twine.
Fall is my favorite season. I love everything about it. When our kids were little, we could go to the end of our street and collect acorns when they started to fall every year. We used those acorns for crafts, counting, sorting and anything else we could think of. One year, when I was picking up the pile of acorns we had gathered a craft idea came to mind.
This easy fall craft came out cuter than I imagined.
FIRST AND FOREMOST—- bake your acorns! If you don’t, you may have little bugs come out of them. To do this, I put aluminum foil on a baking sheet and put the acorns on a foil and bake them at 350° for about 20 minutes.

Directions To To Make This Easy Fall Craft: Acorn & Baker’s Twine Craft:
All I did was put Tacky Glue on the top half of the acorns and wrapped the Baker’s Twine around the top part of the acorn until I reached the very top.
Then, I cut a small piece from tiny twigs and used the Tacky Glue to attach it the top of the acorn to make a stem.
THAT’S IT!!!
I think they are the cutest little things for fall! I want to make more in different colored Baker’s Twine and sprinkle them around in little fall vignettes around the house.

I love these! So cute! I’m always looking for ways to use baker’s twine too! BTW, I found you through Home Coming’s link party 🙂
These are so cute! Did you bake the acorns? I haven’t crafted with them before but I have heard you are supposed to do that-I guess maybe they have bugs? Seems like a lot of extra work if you don’t need to! 😉
Great question and I just went in to my post and put that in there. YES – bake your acorns because you will have bugs if you don’t. I put aluminum foil on a baking sheet and baked them at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
Lindsay! These are so cute. What an adorable idea! <3
Thank you so much Denyse!
