Farmhouse Throw Pillows With Grain Sack Stripes

If you follow me on Instagram you saw me open some amazing happy mail the other day. I received the most beautiful farmhouse throw pillows from Lisa at Farmhouse on Boone.

Let me tell you a little background about how these farmhouse throw pillows came about. 

Since we have been working so hard on the flip house, our home and projects have been put on the back burner. I have loved having the opportunity to work on the flip house because it is a totally new canvas and I have to take all of my style out of it and make it over to fit a potential buyer. It has been good for me.

Then, the other day, while I was at home, I started to get the itch to purge and redecorate. Like I have said before, this happens to me a few times a year. I start to get stir-crazy and want to clean everything out. School will be starting soon so I had to figure out what clothes the kids will need and that means we are cleaning out closets. Cleaning out closets leads to cleaning out cabinets which leads to cleaning out entire rooms. (This is starting to sound like one of our daughter’s favorite books when she was little – “When You Give A Mouse A Cookie”….) 🙂 

As I was looking at some of the throw pillows in our home, I knew there were a couple I needed to change. They are very comfortable, but the covers weren’t working anymore.

Instead of getting rid of the throw pillows, I got online and searched for farmhouse throw pillows.

These pillows came up. 

I was drawn to them because of the grain stripe. 

It was exactly what I was looking for; a neutral pillow with farmhouse flair. 

As soon as they arrived, I had them on the pillows. They fit perfectly and I now have new farmhouse throw pillows that I love. 

In true Lindsay fashion, as soon as I got the pillow covers on, I started moving things around and giving the living room a little “refresh”. 

The tray on the coffee table got some new additions and the sofa was filled with other pillows and white quilt. 

Just like the farmhouse shutters we added in the living room, any new home decor pieces makes me feel like we have a new space. It is the simplest things that can make the biggest difference in a room.
