In this thrift haul 6, I am sharing the things that I picked up at the thrift store to decorate our home and/or sell in my shop for spring.
As someone who loves interior design and wants to save money, I often turn to thrift stores to find unique pieces for my home. Not only can you find great deals, but it’s also a more sustainable way to decorate. In this post, I’ll be sharing some of my recent thrift haul finds for home decor.
This haul was all from one store. It wasn’t a traditional thrift store. It was more of a local charity shop. When I was there, they had a spring revamp in the store. They changed up everything inside the store and brought out spring clothing and decor. It was a lot of fun. The store was packed so I thought I might have missed out on all the good things. I was wrong! Don’t be discouraged if you see a lot of people in a store or at a sale. They are all looking for different things. I couldn’t believe the things I picked up were still there.
Thrift Haul 6:
-
Vintage Brass Owl Trio:
If you have been following along with my thrifted hauls, you know I love vintage brass. When I find a trio of vintage brass, it is even better. .
-
Group of Paper Mache Bunnies:
I could not pass up these Department 56 bunnies. They had a vintage vibe to me. I found two of the bunnies together. I had no idea there was another one until I was browsing the store and found the third one. ALWAYS keep your eyes peeled when shopping in stores like this. Workers are putting things out at different times and don’t always know there are sets of things. There are a lot of times I find the pairs that aren’t together but in another place in the store.
-
Glass Hen on Nest:
I love finding these. They are functional and are cute no matter where you set them.
-
Jadeite:
I could not believe this was still there! No one had picked it up. Jadeite is so hard to find out in the wild where I am located so to find this batter bowl was like hitting the jackpot.
-
Vintage-Style Mirror:
I am always on the hunt for vintage items but sometimes I find a good vintage “dupe”. This mirror was made to look old and they did a good job. I did come home and add some Rub N Buff to it to make the color a little more brassy. These are so fun on any dresser or vanity/desk. They are even great on a mantel or shelf.
-
Bunny On Nest:
I couldn’t leave this bunny on nest piece. It is so cute for spring and Easter.
-
Eucalyptus:
Whenever I find good stems or florals, I pick them up. These can be expensive at retail stores so to find them brand new at a thrift store is so much fun because they are usually at a lot cheaper price.
-
Vintage Feathercraft Bird Art:
I have never seen anything like these and I am obsessed. I love birds pictures in the spring and summer and these are made from actual feathers. They are handmade. The colors are STUNNING! I was so excited to find a set of three in beautiful wood frames.

OMG – those bird feather pics. My ex-MIL collected these and I bet she had over 50 of them. Each one is unique and the carved frames were the ones she hunted for. I was always so enamored by them but she had SO MANY that it was overwhelming to see them and YES, they were all hanging in her house. (she was a hoarder though) I haven’t even thought about looking f9r those since we divorced.
They are so pretty and colorful. I have never seen them before!
