Our back porch has been getting some much-needed updates. It all started when we added the mini-split to the porch. I am obsessed with what the mini-split offers and we can’t believe we waited this long to add one. After the mini-split was done, I was motivated to change some things in the porch.
Today, I am sharing the vintage rug from Boutique Rugs that I made a beautiful change in the porch.

I chose THIS RUG for our back porch. It is a washable rug. The colors are perfect. This rug would work well with both warmer and cooler-toned decor. I love versatility like that because I change my mind a lot. This rug will be able to accommodate that.
This Holi rug is part of their vintage line.
It is made to look like a vintage rug and it is done well. It has that faded look in some areas and it isn’t a plush rug. They created it to look just like what you would expect a real vintage rug to look. And, the best part is that you won’t have to worry about it being super worn or having any rips or holes like some authentic vintage rugs can have.
I should also note that the photos on the Boutique Rugs website do not do it justice. I am hoping these photos in this post give a better representation of the colors in the rug. It has creams, browns, grays, blues, greens, pinks, and a little yellow. I know that sounds like a lot going on, but the faded look and the color combo work SO WELL.
The rug has a very small fringed/frayed edge on both ends.
I got the 6’7″ x 9′ size. Like I said earlier, it doesn’t have a shaggy carpet pile at all. It is flatter which I love for this space. I need something that is easy to clean. Speaking of cleaning… you can put this rug in the washer! A lot of their rugs are washable. Another favorite feature of mine.
After I got the rug, I painted the wood piece in “Drop Cloth” and I am not on the hunt for a new sofa that will give us more seating in the porch. The mini-split has made it so the porch can be used fully all year round so I want to make it even more cozy and comfortable to hang out in.
